exactly what i wanted

I love the motive because it is just somewhat different. A very creative perspective of an owl passing by while a truck is approaching. I associate something completely different with the picture than the title "critical moment" would suggest. To me the owl appears very determined and self-confident not having a single doubt that he or she knows exactly what he or she is doing. It somehow reminds me of superman 🚀💪🏻, so it's a very encouraging message the photograph sends out into the world.
I am happy with my result on canvas although on this substrate it looks a little bit more like a painting than a photograph. For a more detailed color shading I would suggest to pick another substrate than canvas.

This colorful photograph looks great on canvas and no matter where I place it on my wall, it gives me a good mood and a big smile :)

It's totally inspiring, taking a look. It seems like the little guy is talking to the viewer.

The motive had not been my favorite, when cruising through the selection, it was more like a spontaneous decision, kind of "hey... This motive will look great, no matter where you hang it". I am very glad, I made this choice!

Parfait

I have several of Jake's prints and have met him here in Big Sky. His remarkable dedication to his craft in extreme weather and difficult terrain together with amazing talent have produced "above & beyond" results.

The photo tells story of fisherman doing what , I imagine, has existed in that part of the world for generations. It is perfectly balanced with the items, the people in silouette, and, of course, the timing to catch the beautiful lighting. One of my favorite photos I have ever seen.

I don't try to interpret anything into a work of art. The work should stand on its own, I'm interested in the aesthetic expression.
